The telephony group is a leading provider of quality and cost effective telephony products and value added services in the telecommunication industry. Since its operation, the department already deployed six hundred thousand telephone sets nationwide. Due to the advent of wireless technology, the department is also entering the wireless industry by supplying CDMA handsets for WLL application. The group entered into supply agreement with Siemens AG and Vidar-Sun Moon Star Co. for its Standard and Caller ID telephone sets. For CDMA Handsets, the group partnered with ZTE , one of the major CDMA player in the industry. Another customer, BAYANTEL, is deploying these products in their franchise area nationwide. The group will continue to look for other partners to support future requirements of its customer base.

The group also offers value-added services to its customer such as consultancy, sourcing, financing, training, quality inspection, warehousing, distribution, repair and refurbishment.

With the increased sophistication in the telephone service industry, the department is embarking on business development activities related to various products such as: CDMA handsets, CDMA data equipment, VoIP handsets, DECT cordless phones, GSM handsets and accessories.
